From publishing house to digital tools

In 1926 Roberto Spaggiari founded Casa Editrice Spaggiari to support schools with publications and tools for teaching and administration. Across four generations the company has grown, from paper registers to the ClasseViva electronic register, always starting from what teachers, students and administrative staff need.

Everything a school needs, in one place

Over time Spaggiari has added skills and services to meet schools’ needs: advice, training, software, distribution and operational support. Specialised units work together to support each school’s growth.

We provide integrated solutions, digital tools and training that help schools become more open, inclusive and up to date. We share with schools the aim of a more efficient, accessible and connected education system.

A new chapter in more countries

In 2026 ESDS joined Spaggiari: a company founded in 2007 and active in Portugal and Brazil with the e-Schooling, iScholar and DreamShaper platforms. ESDS serves more than 3,000 schools and 1.5 million students, and its teams keep working close to the schools in their own countries.

Spaggiari has worked alongside schools, institutions and businesses for a century. Founded in 1926 with the paper school register, it has grown into a complete digital platform for students, families, teachers, school leaders, businesses and institutions. Infrastructure and technology, teaching content, specialised training and consulting, and products and services for schools help schools run an education system that is more efficient, inclusive, connected and sustainable. ClasseViva, the electronic register, is used every day by 4.5 million people in public and private schools in Italy, and makes collaboration and communication between teachers, students and families easier.

To support the whole educational community, Spaggiari has widened its portfolio over the years with LaFabbrica, which connects businesses, institutions and schools through educational and training projects; ItaliaScuola, which supports school leaders, teachers and administrative staff with regulatory updates; and EUservice, which offers consulting and solutions for safety, privacy and the environment.
